Jerry Ries joined Bremer in October 2022. He is a valuable strategic partner, providing solid financial guidance and innovative solutions. By working in sync with external and internal partners, Jerry can help to identify financial risks and opportunities for growth. He has the experience, organizational resources and tools necessary to help businesses establish, meet and exceed their financial goals. Jerry is able to collaboratively assess client needs, create customized solutions and ensure satisfaction with win-win outcomes.

Before assuming his current role, Jerry served as a Business Banking Development Officer at U.S. Bank. Prior to that, he was the VP of Global Sales at a $20 million equipment manufacturing company where he managed a team of 12 sales engineers. Jerry also had leadership roles at both Transport America and Target in distribution and transportation management.

Jerry holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and a master’s degree in finance, both from the University of St. Thomas.

Family and faith are cornerstones of his life. He is an active member of The Parish of Saints Joachim & Anne Church in Shakopee, Minnesota. Jerry also volunteers with Feed My Starving Children and serves as a student athlete mentor for the University of St. Thomas football team.

A Lakeville, Minnesota, native, Jerry is married to Kelley with two amazing daughters, Ellen and Abigail. Jerry enjoys golf, family vacations, spending time with in-laws at the family cabin, riding motorcycles, and neighborhood walks with Kelley and their toy poodles, Lilly and Daisy.
