As Bremer's Chief Credit Officer, Keith Ahrendt is responsible for Bremer's overall credit function, including regional credit hubs, portfolio risk management, corporate special assets and credit policy. With decades of broad banking experience, Keith brings valuable perspective and oversight to Bremer’s lending practices and services.
In addition to Bremer, Keith has worked at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Marquette Bank and Wells Fargo. At Bremer, he has also served in a variety of sales and credit roles, including region credit director, group chief credit officer and chief lending officer. Throughout his career, Keith has earned trust and built expertise by forming lasting customer relationships and sharing his considerable experience in lending, ranging from retail, small business and SBA, EXIM Bank to agriculture, and complex middle market and large corporate transactions.
Keith and his wife are active volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, inspired by his father’s role as a Habitat contractor in his retirement. Keith also volunteers for Second Harvest Heartland. When he’s not working or volunteering, Keith enjoys tennis, golf, fishing and spending time with his wife and two sons — both of whom are in banking.
