Commercial Banking Director
Jim Mulrooney leads the commercial banking team that focuses on serving the financial needs of large for-profit, nonprofit and municipal clients. He began his career at Wells Fargo in government relations, later leading a multistate team of bankers for Wells Fargo’s government banking. He has also served as relationship manager for middle market specialty groups and business banking. Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Saint John’s University (Collegeville, Minnesota), and his master’s in political management from The George Washington University. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Jim’s commitment to community service and diversity runs deep. He has served on several community boards, including the Minnesota Children’s Museum, and is a past chair of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He remains an active volunteer with the Minnesota Boychoir following his eight years of service on their board of directors. He currently serves as a member of the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and is a founding member of the Saint Paul Chamber’s Equity Council. A native of Saint Paul, MN, Jim is married with two kids and enjoys time outside at the lake, biking, and trying out the latest restaurant in the Twin Cities.
