Bremer Bank today announced the hiring of its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), Matt Keen. Keen brings nearly 30 years of experience in business technology strategy to this role, most recently as chief technology officer at Two Harbors Investment Corporation. As CIO, Keen joins Bremer’s Senior Executive Team and will lead the bank’s technology strategy.

Keen’s three decades of business technology experience includes four years of consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and 14 years with Ameriprise Financial, where he led architecture, development and experience for brokerage and banking services. In his previous leadership roles with Two Harbors, Keen oversaw notable achievements, optimizing cloud services and platform modernization.

A resident of Chanhassen, Minnesota, Keen holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative methods and computer science from the University of St. Thomas. He will office at both the Bremer Service Center in Lake Elmo and Bremer’s Saint Paul Lawson location.
