The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce recently named Bremer Bank its 2024 ChamberChoice Inclusion Champion of the Year, recognizing the bank’s significant commitment to diversity and inclusion work throughout North Dakota. This award is given annually to a business in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area that demonstrates inclusive practices with strong, visible and effective leadership. A total of 268 local businesses were nominated for a 2024 ChamberChoice award, with three finalists selected and winners voted on by the public. Click here to watch a video about the award.

Guided by the bank’s Racial Equity Action Plan, Bremer has committed to paving a more equitable path forward and has invested both financial resources as well as talent leadership to support and champion this work in the Fargo-Moorhead and West Fargo region. Bremer has been the Premier Sponsor of the Chamber’s Professionals of Color group since its inception. Bremer employees have also taken on leadership roles in the group, hosting multiple sessions. Bremer’s Chief People and Culture Officer, Colette Campbell, has provided multiple trainings, spoken on several panels and given radio interview in this region, all with the purpose of advancing this critical DEI work.
The ChamberChoice awards recognize businesses in the Fargo-Moorhead and West Fargo area that play a significant role in making the region a better place to work, live and do business. Bremer staff and members of the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce celebrated the award at a ceremony on May 16.
